Online Network Marketing Persistence #4

by Del Edwards

So many times I’ve seen people come so close to success, but then for what ever their reason, they give up and walk away.  If they would have hung in there for just one more month, or just another week and perhaps even just a day, success would have been within their grasp. But instead, so many people choose to give up.  I’m not sure how best to get this point across, but I can tell you that in this network marketing industry, the people who fail are the ones who either don’t really do anything, or the ones that put a lot of work into building a business and then quit.

If you’ve read a little about me you know that I am an optometrist. I’m ONLY saying that to make a point. I went through six years of elementary school, two years of junior high, three years of high school (OK… I didn’t miscount… i’m just a geek who graduated a year early because I PLANNED to), four years of college (five if you count the year I was out), four MORE years of optometry school and three years as a graduate associate before I went out to “practice” my craft.  That’s a total of twenty-two or twenty-three years, depending on how you count it, all in an effort to become an entry level optometrist with a boat load of student loan debt. (Sometimes I question if this educational system is the REAL scam…..)

So what’s my point? Well, in the network marketing world, it is possible to achieve a considerable amount of success in a relatively short amount of time with little to no debt incurred.  Although network marketing sometimes gets a bad rap, it really is an awesome way to build a steady source of income.  With consistent effort, with diligence, with a teachable spirit and with a reasonable amount of time, ANYONE can achieve substantial success.  I think the problem is that many SAY they are not looking for a “get rich quick” scheme, but when they become involved with network marketing they suddenly cringe at the thought of having to work for two to five years to build a solid network.  Yes, it’s happened much sooner for some, but in general, it takes a little more than thirty days to become a raging success in this industry.

I hope your perspective is clear. Twenty-three years of an expensive education only to end up broke, in debt and constantly trading hours for dollars VERSUS taking some solid network marketing training and implementing that training consistently for a period of no more than two to five years, then ending up with an ever increasing RESIDUAL income and little to no debt.

The bottom line is that those who persist, and work consistently, win in this industry. Don’t give up on your dream and don’t give up on yourself. Dedicate a finite amount of time to work your business and then actually WORK YOUR BUSINESS.  Treat your business like a business.  Be persistent and you WILL succeed.

To your success!!

I am curious to find out what blog system you’re working with? I’m having some minor security problems with my latest website and I’d like to find something more secure. Do you have any solutions?

I use Hostgator to host my site and from there I chose to use WordPress for my blog platform. I hope this helps.
